Representing the national governments of countries in North America, South America, and the Caribbean, students in this simulation will debate strategies for addressing the region's security, economic, and environmental problems.

Students are challenged to work together to create regional solutions to issues related to drug trafficking, trade agreements, migration, and sustainable development, while also attempting to meet the more immediate national interests of each respective country.

Instructors will be able to select the specific North and South American countries their students will portray. A detailed scenario is provided along with online Research Library resources to aid students in researching their assigned country's positions. This simulation includes an opportunity for students to develop, debate, and vote on specific proposal plans to address the issues in the scenario.
