Alexander Jonas works as a Web developer at the University of Maryland, where he's built database-driven websites and applications for several UMD projects and initiatives. These days he works almost exclusively for the ICONS Project, contributing to the project's ICONSnet simulation software, as well as its public-facing website and administrative applications. He previously worked as an instructor and educational trainer for a non-profit civic education group. He has an A.B. in Russian and Soviet Studies (concentration in government) from Cornell University.
