Distributed Simulations

Distributed, or multi-school, simulations involve teams of students from schools around the country and the world and are coordinated by the ICONS Project. These on-line simulations are 3 weeks in length and are scheduled for specific times during the Fall or Spring semesters.

In a distributed simulation ICONS Project staff will play the role of "Simcon" (the on-line simulation facilitator) and student teams will be assigned the roles of countries within the simulation. A typical student team ranges in size from 10 to 25 students. Classes may elect to represent more than one country, if needed.
