Overview
Our Role-play Simulations:
ICONS enables you to run role-play simulations outside the walls of the classroom or the confines of the class period! Our simulations use computers as a tool to facilitate communication between multiple participants who negotiate and collaborate with each other online to address complex issues. Results are not scripted and participants do not play against a computer. ICONS' simulation interface, ICONSnet, packages all communication tools and resource materials in one password-protected, central location and is easily accessible from any Internet-connected computer. No software installation is required.
With ICONS simulations, students "step into the shoes" of...
- Diplomats engaged in high stakes negotiations on current international issues
- U.S. Senators attempting to push bills through committees
- Multi-national corporations, NGOs, or local civil society representatives
- International, national, or local leaders facing tough decisions at critical moments in history
and build skills in...
- Leadership
- Problem-solving
- Negotiation
- Writing and Communication
- Teamwork
- Critical Thinking
