Use an ICONS online role-play simulation in your course as a supplement to International Negotiation in a Complex World. The ICONS Project, based at the University of Maryland, designs online role-play simulations on a variety of political issues for use in colleges and universities. These simulation exercises, described in detail in the appendix of International Negotiation in a Complex World, offer an opportunity for students to engage in the delicate and challenging work of diplomacy.
